Typical stay in an authentic Rorbu. Very friendly landlord. Quiet area located on a harbor of Ballstad. Everything in order in the house.

Starting from the assumption that TV in Lofoten is not necessary... but if it is there it should work... the signal was constantly skipping.

The rorbu was located in a quiet place and the decor was very rustic and homely, allowing us to experience how it was like to live in a fishermen’s cabin. It is also conveniently located in the middle of Lofoten, so it takes about a 1.5h drive to either Å or Svolvær, and a 20min drive from Leknes airport. The hosts were very friendly too! They took time to explain the various must-see sights in Lofoten and even drove 30min to the rorbu during bad weather to fix our toilet. Really appreciate that they went out of their way to make us feel right at home. (:
